Samsung is one of the largest smartphone companies today and today, the South Korean company unveiled the Samsung Galaxy F04. The Galaxy F04 comes as the latest addition to the Galaxy F-series.

The Samsung Galaxy F04 is an entry-level smartphone that prioritizes affordability over anything else. It is expected to be the successor to the Galaxy F02s which was more than a year ago.
The phone manages to bring good features and a few Samsung-exclusive perks at a really cheap price. In this article, I’ll share the Samsung Galaxy F04 specs and price as well as everything else you need to know about the phone.

Display
Upfront, the Samsung Galaxy F04 sports a fairly large 6.5-inch PLS LCD display that has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The screen has a 20 by 9 aspect ratio with a water drop notch at the top, and noticable bezels all around. The refresh rate is still at 60Hz which is not shocking considering its price.
Design and Body
Here, Samsung decides to go with something similar to previous entry-level smartphones they’ve released in the Galaxy A-series.

Notwithstanding, the phone still looks quite refined and well-designed, probably one of the best in its price range.
The phone comes in a plastic body which lacks a premium feel to it but it is very durable which is fantastic. It weighs about 188 grams with a thickness of 9.1 mm so you may find it a little bit bulky.
Processor and Memory
Coming to the processor, Samsung greets us with a familiar chipset associated with entry-level smartphones, the MediaTek Helio P35. The octa-core chipset is built on a 12nm node, and it has a maximum clock speed of 2.35 GHz. It is also paired with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU which is only good for extra light activities.
The Samsung Galaxy F04 comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with a micro SD card slot supporting up to 1TB.
Camera
Coming to the camera, it is not surprising that Samsung did the bare minimum, well, that’s all they can do.

On the rear, there is a dual camera setup that features a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. Only the main camera does the work as the other is close to being useless. It can record videos in up to 1080p resolution.
On the front, there is a 5MP camera tucked in the water drop notch for all your selfies and video call need.
Battery and Charging
The battery department is where all entry-level smartphones shine as more doesn’t necessarily make it more expensive. The Samsung Galaxy F04 has a massive 5,000 mAh battery, it’s obvious it’s the major contributor to the phone’s weight.
The battery should last for quite some time, but when it eventually runs down, there’s support for 15W charging via its USB-C port. It is not that fast but charging should be around 2 hours max.
Network and Connectivity

4G LTE is now the bare minimum on all smartphones, and this phone doesn’t miss out. It supports the following LTE bands: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40, and 41.
The phone comes with Bluetooth 5.0 (A2DP, LE), Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Direct. As for navigation, the phone supports GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and BDS.
Software
Samsung’s One UI is running on the Samsung Galaxy F04, and it is based on Android 12. Despite its price, Samsung still promises two major Android software updates so Android 14 is where Samsung’s support starts fading.
Samsung Galaxy F04 Price

The Samsung Galaxy F04 price is set at around 90 EUR or $95 which is a bit below the $100 mark that most entry-level smartphones are at. As I said earlier, the Galaxy F04 prioritizes affordability and I guess you can see that now.
