After so many rumours and leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover 6 pro was officially announced by Samsung. The Xcover 6 pro is for people who need a rugged device that can stand the test of time.

The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 6 pro was made especially for enterprise users, so if you are a normal consumer you might not have the features interesting.

Design and body

The Xcover 6 pro is sleeker than most rugged phones. It processes MIL-STD-810H-certified design, an ip68 rating and the front glass is a gorilla glass Victus plus.

It has a dimension of 168.8 x 79.9 x 9.9mm and uses a single sim (nano sim) or dual sim

Display 

The Xcover 6 pro has a 6.6-inch FHD+ PLS LCD, 77.8% screen-to-body ratio with a 1080 x 2408 Pixels resolution with 400PPI density. It comes with a 120HZ refresh rate.

Processor and memory 

It comes with a 6mm octa core processor based on the snapdragon 778G. It has 6GB of ram and 128GB internal memory storage, with a MicroSD card slot expandable to 1TB

Camera

The smartphone comes with a 50MP wide camera, 8MP ultra wide with a dual led flash, HDR, panorama with a 13MP selfie camera.

Battery and charging 

Due to its ruggedness, Samsung has housed the Xcover 6 pro with a 4050mah removable battery that can be charged with the Type C port and a 15w fast charging support.

Price and Availability 

Samsung has not officially released the price for the Xcover 6 pro yet. But the Xcover pro cost $499 so we expect a higher price.

Samsung confirmed that the phone will be available this July 2022 in Europe, Asia and the middle east.
