Design and Body
The Samsung Galaxy J6 is a very compact and lightweight smartphone, the phone has a full plastic body, it has a thickness of 8.2 and weighs 154 grams. Using plastic for the body must have been a way to cut the costs down. The Galaxy J6 looks is still nice and attractive in 2020.

The Galaxy J6 has a pretty good display, it sports a 5.6 inches Super AMOLED display with an HD+ resolution of 720×1480 pixels and pixels per inch density of 293. The phone has an infinity display which is still a good thing in 2020. The phone screen is protected by an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass.
Processor and Memory
Being a mid-range smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy J6 is powered an octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC which has a maximum clock speed of 1.6 GHz coupled with Mali T830 MP1 GPU. The chipset is expected to run apps well as of today.

At the front, there’s a 8MP selfie camera with a LED that has 3 different tone levels which help when taking selfies in a low light environment.

As you should expect, the Galaxy J6 has support for 4G LTE network so you’ll enjoy fast internet speeds when downloading and browsing. The phone has support for the following 4G LTE bands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 17, 20, 28, 38, 40, 41 & 66. The phone comes with Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, WiFi Direct, GPS, FM radio and WiFi hotspot. Samsung Galaxy J6 runs on Android 8 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI out of the box but is now upgradeable to Android 10 with One UI 2.0, the latest Android version.
Samsung Galaxy J6 Review in 2020
Having glanced through the specs, I’ll say the Samsung Galaxy J6 is still a good phone worth buying in 2020 but it has some deal-breakers like the processor which is not capable of heavy tasks. Aside from that, the remaining specs are still good enough in 2020. However, if there are better options in the same price range you’ll want to but this phone, I’ll advise you to go for them.
