Wiko is a French company that manufactures smartphones and is based in Marseille, France. Recently, the French company launched the Wiko Ride smartphone. The Ride smartphone is a cheap entry-level smartphone below $100. It comes with some cool specs for its price which we’ll be discussing in this article. Design and Body
Talking about the design, the Wiko Ride has a pretty good design, it comes in a plastic body that is durable. It has a thickness of 9.7 mm and weighs 176 grams (including the battery). Also, it is available in one color which is Black. The phone is very compact which makes it comfortable in the hands and pockets.

Display
Coming to the display, the Wiko Ride sports a 5.45 inches TFT LCD display with a resolution of 480×960 pixels and 197 pixels per inch density. It has an aspect ratio of 18:9 which makes it have minimal bezels at the top and bottom. The screen utilizes a 2.5D curved glass which is a bit resistant to easy scratches.
Processor and Memory
The Wiko Ride is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor which has a maximum clock speed of 2.0 GHz. The chipset is built on a 12nm fabrication process which is power efficient. It features the PowerVR 8300 GPU in charge of gaming and graphics-related activities.
The phone comes with 2GB of RAM which is okay for multitasking and 16GB of built-in storage. It has a micro SD card slot for expanding the storage when the need arises.

Camera
Coming to the camera department, the Wiko Ride has a single rear camera setup that features a 5 megapixels camera with a LED flash to help in low light situations. The rear camera can record 1080p Full HD videos at 30 fps.
At the front, there is a 2 megapixels camera for taking selfies and video calls and it can also record 720p HD videos at 30 fps.

Battery and Charging
The Wiko Ride comes with a 2,500 mAh removable Li-Po battery. The battery is not large but it promises up to 14 hours of talk time and about 400 hours of standby time. Sadly, it does not support wireless charging or fast charging.
Network and Connectivity
This smartphone has support for 4G LTE which lets you download and upload at warp speed. It comes with Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, and FM radio. It has a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. It also has support for OTG (On The Go).

Software
The Wiko Ride runs on the latest Android version, Android 9 Pie out of the box. It comes with all Google services and pre-installed applications.
