Infinix Note 5 Pro also known as Infinix Note 5 Stylus is a smartphone launched by Infinix Mobility as an addition to the Note series for this year. This is the successor to the Infinix Note 4 and Note 4 Pro of last year, it is also the Pro version of the Infinix Note 5. Display and Body
Infinix Note 5 Pro has quite a large screen similar to the junior sibling Infinix Note 5. It comes with a 6·0 inch FHD LTPS IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels, 18:9 infinity display, 403 pixels per inch density and a whopping 78% screen to body ratio. The display can reach up to 500 nits brightness so using the phone under sun is no problem. The phone has reduced bezels on the side but more obvious ones at the top and bottom.
The phone comes in a full metal body which is very durable meaning you’d not necessarily need a pouch. The phone has a length of 158 mm, a width of 75 mm, a thickness of 8.4 mm and weighs about 173 grams. Below the chin, there’s a XPen slot.


Processor and Memory
Doing all your biddings inside is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 chipset with a max clock speed of 2·0 GHz coupled with Mali G71 MP2 in charge of gaming and graphics on the phone. The processor is built on a 16nm processor so we’d expect to save a little power.
The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of built-in storage. There’s a micro SD card slot for expanding the storage but it’s shared with the 2nd SIM meaning if you want to use 2 SIMs you’d have to forfeit using a SD card.


Camera
In the camera department, the drool is all about the low light selfie camera. The selfie camera is a 16 megapixels wide sensor with an arbitrary f/2.0 aperture which has a LED flash and can record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
At the back, we have a 16 megapixels wide sensor with f/1.8 aperture beside a LED flash. The rear camera can record 4K videos at 30 frames per second.
The both cameras are expected to perform very well in low light environment.
Battery and Charging
In the battery section, the Infinix Note 5 Pro didn’t fall short as it comes with enough battery to go for 2 days on just one charge. The Note 5 comes with a 4,000 mAh non removable Li-Po battery.
It also supports 10W fast charge technology which is meant to get your battery full in no time at all. It charges via the micro USB port.
Software
The Infinix Note 5 Stylus runs on Android 8.1 Oreo under the Android One project by Google.
Network and Connectivity
Infinix Note 5 has 4G LTE till 2G network in it for our every day use. It supports the following LTE bands 1, 3, 5, 8, 38, 40, 41. It’s download speed can reach up to 150 Mbps and upload speed can reach up to 50 Mbps. It comes with Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, GPS, FM Radio and WiFi hotspot.
