The Airtel dataplan 3gb for 1.5k is also another blackberry plan that is useable on all device with out any extra settings. But many complained that they zap it at a very high rate thereby making no difference between the dataplan and MTN double offer.
This morning, i was chatting with a friend on our official whatsapp group, and he made it know to me that he is still using that old Airtel dataplan 3GB for 1k. I was shocked because the plan has been discontinued for a long time.

Since the plan has been discontinued, it does not work on all sim you need to test it by dailing *431*1#

If you have a result like the above screenshot, you are on the right track.
=>Change the imei of your phone to 3529210503566120 for android 4.4-5.1, use MTK engineering while 6.0-8.0 should use chamelephon

=>Change the check digit using imei analyser
=>Reboot your phone you will get a message from Airtel that your BB cannot be configured.
=>PHONE SETTINGS
1. Goto Settings > Mobile phone network > access to point > Airtel NG > Change your Android’s APN as seen below…
Name: Airtel NG
APN: internet.ng.airtel.com
APN TYPE: default, supl
==>Load N1000 on your phone and dail *431*1# the 3gb will be activated.
==>Power ON your browsers and start enjoying your Airtel dataplan
