Display
Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus has similar looks as the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus still with the nice premium build and same display size. It has 6.2 inches Super AMOLED infinity display, the display has a 84.2% screen to body ratio, 1440×2960 pixels, 529 pixels per inch density and a 18·5:9 aspect ratio as before which allows you to have more screen space without being unnecessarily large. The display supports HDR10 and also 3D touch on the home button only, it has the Always on display feature which displays time & date and other useful notification.
To save power, the Super AMOLED display runs on a full HD resolution by default which you might decide to change in settings if you want to the maximum 2960 X 1440 pixels (570 ppi) and don’t care about battery.
The display offers a near-bezel-less edge to edge screen and a curved display that creates the illusion of an infinity display.
Design and Body
Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back of the phone to protect it against scratches and easy damage. It also has a metal frame which gives the phone a premium feel when you hold it. The phone measures a body dimension of 158.1 x 73.8 x 8.5 mm and weighs 189 grams. The phone is IP68 water and dust resistant so you’ll not really need to worry about water damaging it, it can survive in 1.5 metres deep water for 30 minutes. Looking at the back of the phone, you’ll find a fingerprint sensor below the camera which secures the phone from unauthorized access. The phone also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack which most flagship tends to forget.
Processor and Memory
The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus offers two different processor depending on your region. The Galaxy S9 Plus comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor with Adreno 630 GPU for those in US, China and LATAM regions while those in Europe, Middle East and Africa get an octa-core Exynos 9810 processor with Mali G72 MP18 GPU. The Exynos chipset features 4 cores clocked at 2.7 GHz and another 4 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz while the Snapdragon chipset features 4 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz and another 4 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz. The both processor are built on a 10 nm fabrication process.

Camera

The rear camera on the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus also boasts Optical Image Stabilisation with up to 8X digital zoom. Background blur effect (a.k.a. Bokeh effect) is also baked into the camera.
