ZTE has recently launched its new budget entry-level smartphone which is the ZTE Fanfare 3. The ZTE Fanfare 3 is the successor to the Fanfare 2 that was launched about a year ago. The new ZTE Fanfare 3 is the phone you should have in mind if you don’t want to spend more than $100 when getting a new smartphone. Display
Coming to the display which is the thing you interact with most in your phone, the ZTE Fanfare 3 comes with a 5.0 inches TFT display with a FWVGA resolution of 480×854 pixels and 196 pixels per inch density. The screen does not have protection of any kind but it’s a bit resistant to scratches.

Design and Body
The design of the ZTE Fanfare 3 is not that spectacular, it comes in a plastic body that is very durable and light. It has a thickness of 9.1 mm and weighs about 154 grams (including the battery). The phone feels good in the hands as it is not bulky. It is available in only one Blue color.
Processor and Memory
ZTE Fanfare 3 is powered by the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor which has a maximum clock speed of 1.1 GHz and is built on a 28nm fabrication provide. The Adreno 304 GPU is in charge of gaming and graphics-related activities.
It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Not having large internal storage, it has a dedicated micro SD card slot to expand the storage up to 32GB.
Camera
Coming to the camera department, the Fanfare 3 has a single rear camera that is a 5 megapixels camera. It has a LED flash which helps in low light environments.
At the front, we have a 2 megapixels camera for taking selfies and video calls.
Both the rear and front camera records HD 720p videos at 30 fps.

Battery and Charging
Coming to this department, the ZTE Fanfare 3 comes with a non-removable 2,250 mAh Li-Ion battery. It has a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. Despite the battery not being huge, it promises up to 13.9 hours of talk time and 318.7 hours of standby time.
Network and Connectivity
The ZTE Fanfare 3 has support for 4G LTE network which gives you access to fast internet speeds when downloading and browsing. It comes with Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, and FM radio. It also supports OTG (On The Go). It is available on Cricket Wireless carrier only.

Software
As for software, the ZTE Fanfare 3 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS out of the box. It may later get an update to the next Android version in the future.
