Samsung Galaxy Note 8 display is very great as it has always been and is now better. The Galaxy Note 8 has a 6.3 inches QHD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors, 1440×2960 pixels resolution, 18·5:9 aspect ratio, 521 ppi density and 83.2% screen to body ratio. The display supports HDR10, 3D touch(which is only available on the home button) and always on display which displays important things like date, time and notifications.
The Galaxy Note 8 has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protecting the screen and the back from scratches and easy damage, it also has an aluminum frame also. The glass on the front and back are both curved.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 measures a body dimension of 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.6 mm and weighs 195 g.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is IP68 water and dust resistant and can stay in 1.5m deep water for 30 minutes. It has support for S Pen which is used for translating and writing notes.

Like Samsung has always done, the Galaxy Note 8 has two different processor depending on your region. If you’re in US or China you get an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 10nm chipset which clocks at 2.35 GHz and if you’re in Europe, Middle East and Africa, you get an octa-core Exynos 8895 10nm chipset which clocks at 2.3 GHz. Also the US/China model comes with Adreno 540 GPU while the EMEA model comes with Mali G71 MP20 GPU.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. It has shared micro SD card slot which is only available in dual SIM model for expanding the storage.

The Galaxy Note 8 has a dual rear camera, the first camera is a 12MP wide sensor and the second is a 12MP telephoto sensor. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has a non removable Li-Ion 3300 mAh battery, with the 10nm processor I guess the battery will be used efficiently. It has a 15W fast charge technology, Quick Charge 2.0. It also supports Qi/PMA wireless charging. The phone boasts of 22 h talk time and 74 h music play time.


Samsung Galaxy Note 8 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It has update to One UI based on Android 9 Pie.
