If you own a camon c8 you can now update it to marshmallow android 6.0 manually using 2 method either you flash via so flash tools or you use OTA update method

==>Don’t ever dare to update your phone if rooted instead reload your ROM then flash
==>make sure you are using stock recovery or else of might lead to bootloop(stoft brick)
==>Make sure your battery is 50% charged

How To Update Tecno C8 To Mashmallow

• Download this mashmallow update for tecno C8 here
• Place the zip file on the root of your memory card make sure it is not placed inside any folder
• Now boot your phone to recovery mode by holding down your power button simultaneously with volume up
• Once you see a android logo, hold the volume up then press power buton once 
• Navigate through the options you will see apply update from sdcard browse to where you saved your update.
• Wait for about 5min for it to load. Yipee your canon C8 has been ported to 6.0 marshmallow
