Things needed
- PC window 7/8 both are supported
- TWRP recovery for gionee m2 mini download HERE
- Download superSu update HERE
- Sp Flash tools
- Your brain
- Setup Mtk drivers(vcomm drivers) use this hovatek guide here to set it up
- Once that is done, Extract TWRP.zip you downloaded earlier you will see custom recovery.img and mtk scatter files inside extract both files to a new folder.
- Launch sp flash tool tick load scatter files then browse through the new folder you created earlier and choose the scatter file you extracted earlier.
- Recovery should be ticked power off your phone remove your battery.
- Now click on download then, plug in your USB cord then insert your battery the flashing will start
- Once flashing is successful, copy Update superSu.zip to the root of your memory card.
- Boot to recovery mode by holding the power button +vol up you will see install zip from sd card.
- Navigate to the updatesupersu.zip and click ok
- Thats all reboot your phone you should see supersu installed on your phone you can also use root checker from playstore to verify root status
