For the benefit of the newbies,An OTA update, or over-the-air update, is the wireless delivery of new software or data to mobile.
What you should avoid when using OTA
- Make sure you unroot your phone applying OTA update or else your phone will get bricked it is strongly recommended.
But unfortunately, if you already root your phone before receiving the OTA update you cannot apply the update because, OTA does not support root unrooting and delete su from xbin is not enough and can never solve it just because not all root dependencies are removed from the phone.
What should I do to fix it up?
==>what you will do is change the ROM of your device and try applying the update from cache this will fix the problem otherwise you will still get the error message while updating through recovery.
